Free Nature Study Resource

I found a great, FREE, nature study resource online at the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources.  They have One Page Plant Field Guides available online.  This is a screen capture of the "Mushrooms" field guide.

The EIGHTEEN pictures on each card are gorgeous and extremely clear.  The site also offers the text describing the corresponding numbered photo in a separate PDF.

My "plan", when I get toner , is to print them off on cardstock, laminate them, and attach them all together on a ring.  I can then keep it with our, "we're going on a nature hike bag". 

I'm also thinking, I would also like to make another set or two so we can make some games similar to concentration.

It is definitely a great resource for many people, not those only living in West Virginia.
